CARING FOR YOUR EDDIE BAG

Eddie Handmade creates beautiful leather bags from the most carefully chosen and exquisite natural leathers. Many different types of natural leathers are used for our products. The leather used is of the highest quality, and from reputable, ethical sources.

All of our patterns are unique and designed in-house. Natural leathers are left untreated for a pure finish, and can vary in shade and texture. Different leathers age in different ways and some are more delicate than others. Many of our customers love leathers to acquire a vintage patina and some don't - both are fine! But if you understand how Eddie leathers age and how they should be cared for then you will be able to choose one that suits you and your requirements.

 

As a general rule, you should take care to avoid rubbing delicate, smooth or patent leather types against rough or sharp surfaces to minimise scratching. Should your product get wet, remove any residual water immediately with a paper towel, pack loosely with paper and allow it to dry naturally. Reflecting this, we maintain stringent requirements for our company and every supplier we work with. Our products adhere to every environmental and product safety regulation around the world, and we constantly seek ways to improve our performance.

 

All of our suppliers operate under strict requirements to ensure our products are safe, which include complying with all laws, rules and regulations on a worldwide basis. We complete regular, random and unannounced audits and inspections of our suppliers to verify their social performance and working conditions.

 

We recognize that there is always room to enhance our practices, and we continually assess opportunities to work with our suppliers to further reduce environmental impact. We continue to strive to reach the goal of zero impact on the environment, and while there’s more work to do, we pursue that goal aggressively.

 

 

SHIPPING TIMES & COSTS

Our delivery dates are estimated to be 4-8 working days and are always from the date of the Order Acknowledgement

Orders from eddiehandmade.com are sent "Signature Required". DHL will obtain a signature in the following way:

  • From any person at the delivery address or from a neighbor, building manager or other person at a neighboring address

 

 

WHERE DO I SEND MY RETURN?

We will be glad to refund or exchange any new and unused merchandise. You must cancel your order within 14 days from the date of purchase.

You can request a return for goods you have purchased on Eddiehandmade.com up to 14 days after receiving your order confirmation email.

To cancel a Contract, you just need to let us know that you have decided to cancel. The easiest way to do this is to complete the cancellation form on our website. A link to the website cancellation form will be included in our Order Acceptance email as well. If you use this method we will e-mail you to confirm we have received your cancellation. You can also cancel a Contract by e-mailing us at customercare@eddiehandmade.com or contacting us by post at Eddie Handmade Ltd, 96 Wheathampstead Road, Harpenden, Herts, AL5 1JB. If you are emailing us or writing to us please include details of your order to help us to identify it.

HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER

Our order process allows you to check and amend any errors before submitting your order to us, by removing unwanted items from your shopping basket. Please take the time to read and check your order at each page of the order process.

How do I cancel an online order? Eddie Handmade will dispatch most orders within 1-2 working days of the date they are placed. If you need to cancel an order, you can complete the cancellation form on our website or contact us immediately at customercare@eddiehandmade.com

 

How will I know Eddie Handmade received my online order? Once you place an order with eddiehandmade.com, we will provide you with a confirmation number and summary of your order. In addition, we will send you an order confirmation email within one hour. If you do not receive your confirmation information within 24 hours, please email us at customercare@eddiehandmade.com, to confirm that we have received your order.

 

What if I have questions about my online order? If you have questions about your order, please email customercare@eddiehandmade.com 

 

What forms of payment are accepted? On eddiehandmade.com, every purchase is made with maximum security thanks to the use of PayPal. Eddiehandmade.com is currently accepting orders using PayPal only. You DON’T have to have a PayPal account to use PayPal to pay for your Eddie Handmade purchases. PayPal is a secure, fast, and easy way to pay.

 

Here's a step by step guide on how to make a purchase if you do not have a PayPal account: 

When you want to use PayPal to make a Eddie Handmade purchase, you click on the “Checkout” button. You will then get a PayPal payment screen asking you to Pay with your PayPal account or Pay by Debit or Credit card. If you don’t have a PayPal account you can chose to pay with your debit or credit card.

You do not have to sign up for a PayPal account to complete your purchase.

 

Note: If we are unable to supply you with a Product, for example because that Product is no longer available, the Product is temporarily out-of-stock or because of an error in the price on our site, we will inform you of this by e-mail and we will not process your order. If you have already paid for the Products, we will refund you the full amount including any delivery costs charged as soon as possible.
